How is electricity billed? +
Each room has its own meter and the bill is split equally between roommates.

Yes, in 2, 3 and 4 sharing, for a little more. Rooms & rates above shows what's available today.
Is food available? +
Not at the moment.
Are there any extra charges? +
No registration fee and no maintenance charge. The only extras are metered electricity and any add-ons you pick.
What is the security deposit? +
It varies by room type — the amount is on each room card. Back the day you vacate. Deductions only for maintenance (about ₹1,500), missing keys, damages or pending dues.
Is there a minimum stay? +
3 months. We don't do daily or weekly stays, which keeps the building settled.
What do I need to bring on admission day? +
Your Aadhaar card, one passport-size photo, the first month's rent and the deposit.
How much notice do I give before moving out? +
1 month. Tell us a month ahead and your deposit is ready on the day you leave.
Is there a gate timing at night? +
The gate is locked from 11 PM to 6 AM so the building is secure overnight. Coming back late from a weekend trip is usually fine, just let the warden know. On weeknights we ask everyone to keep to it, out of consideration for the people asleep and for the warden.
Is anyone on site at night? +
Yes. A warden lives on site, 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
Can friends or family visit me at the PG? +
Of course, in the common areas, and we ask that they leave before the gate closes at 11 PM. We keep visitors out of the rooms themselves, because the rooms are shared and your roommate shouldn't have to host someone he hasn't met.
What are the rules on smoking and alcohol? +
Neither on the premises, and we ask that you don't come back to the PG after drinking. No drugs or weapons, ever. It's a shared building and this is what keeps it quiet enough to sleep and work in.
How do I pay the rent? +
UPI, by the 5th of each month. Everything here is cashless, so there is a record of every payment on both sides.
Do the rooms have attached bathrooms? +
Yes, every room has an attached bathroom. The 6-sharing has 2 of them.
What furniture comes with the room? +
A cot and mattress, bed spread and pillow, a cupboard, a mini table, a fan and a light.
How do I get to TIDEL Park without a bike? +
Thaneer Pandal bus stop is about 200 metres away, roughly a 2-minute walk, and autos are easy to find on Avinashi Road.
Where does the water come from? +
Mostly corporation supply, with a borewell as backup. Drinking water goes through a purifier, 1 on every floor.
Is Q Residency safe? What security measures are in place? +
Yes. Gated premises, with cameras on the entrance, corridors and parking. Only monthly residents stay here, so you know your neighbours.
